Timothy Omer has been working with the open source movement #WeAreNotWaiting for a while now and thanks to his IT background and his belief that anybody should be able to manage their T1D, he has taken the next phase and designed his own open source application for open loop system that can, in theory, support any pump. He recognizes that he is not a professional app programmer but that he has learnt a lot by doing so. As a result he is now managing his T1D using HAPP. For this and many other reasons that you will discover in the interview, Tim has been asked to be part of the PEPPER Innovation Advisory Board, providing invaluable feedback to the PEPPER team.
